Dean Scott Meiklejohn on Admissions

Bowdoin’s Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Scott Meiklejohn, writes about college admissions for the Bowdoin Daily Sun. Meiklejohn was named to his current post in 2009, having previously served as assistant to the president and as vice president for institutional advancement. Before coming to Bowdoin in January 1997, Meiklejohn served as headmaster at La Pietra School in Honolulu, Hawaii, and as director of admissions at Hebron Academy in Maine. He is a former trustee at both Kents Hill School in Kents Hill, Maine, and at the Waynflete School in Portland. He currently serves on the board of trustees at his alma mater, Colgate University.
