PB Hockey Puck 256Men’s Ice Hockey: The Connecticut College men’s ice hockey pulled away with a 4-1 win Friday night in a crucial showdown between the two teams tied for fourth in the NESCAC standings. The Camels (12-9-2, 9-7-1 NESCAC) pull ahead of the Polar Bears (13-7-3, 7-7-3 NESCAC) in conference standings and hand Bowdoin just its second home loss of the season.

BasketballMen’s Basketball: Bowdoin’s Lucas Hausman and Bryan Hurley outscored the University of Maine-Farmington by themselves as the Polar Bear men’s basketball team cruised to a 72-41 win over the Beavers on Friday evening. Bowdoin closes out its first semester with a record of 5-2. Maine-Farmington falls to 2-5 with the loss.

Geoffrey Canada of the Bowdoin Class of 1974 and Stanley F. Druckenmiller of the Class of 1975 will be awarded The Bowdoin Prize—the highest honor the College bestows upon its members—during a special ceremony on Tuesday, January 20, at the 1794 Society Reception for leadership donors to Bowdoin’s Annual Giving Program in the Grand Promenade of Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.
