Hmm: The Global Spread of the ‘Hum’ (Good)

People all around the world are supposedly hearing a strange, persistent humming noise, referred to simply as “the hum.” Evidently, hundreds of residents in Bristol, England, in the 1970s first began hearing a “constant low-frequency sound that didn’t seem to originate from any particular point, but rather existed all around them.” Now one in fifty people around the globe report hearing a hum.

While some believe it’s just tinnitus, others are convinced the source of the droning noise has not yet been identified.  Read more.
