The Bowdoin College Museum of Art exhibition R. Luke DuBois — Now, which highlighted the work of the New York-based composer, computer programmer, filmmaker, and installation artist, has been included in Hyperallergic‘s list of last year’s top 15 exhibitions in the US.

The site commends the artist’s mining of dating data, Facebook info, Playboy centerfolds, and presidential speeches (among other things) to create sophisticated infographics that approach a new type of history painting.

The Museum of Art says the work of DuBois “explores what it means to live in today’s data-saturated world of globalized information.”
