Lauren McGrath ’07 Designs Her Way into Pages of Architectural Digest

Lauren McGrath ’07 is one-half of the mother-daughter design duo, McGrath II. In designing the interior of an apartment in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood, they caught the attention of Architectural Digest, which features a slideshow of their work.

Lauren McGrath ’07 is the niece of Peter Grua and Mary O’Connell, both of whom are members of the Class of 1976. Her mother and design partner, Suzanne Grua McGrath, earned five Emmys over her decade-long career as style editor and producer at Martha Stewart Living Television. Together, Lauren and her mother wrote Good Bones, Great Pieces: The Seven Essential Pieces To Carry You Through a Lifetime and are behind the McGrath II design blog.
