Eve Marder, known internationally for her research into neural networks in lobsters and crabs, and the ways in which computational methods reveal the function of neural circuits, has been awarded the renowned Kavli Prize in Neuroscience for her groundbreaking research on the nervous system.

Marker, a 2010 honorary degree recipient, is the Victor and Gwendolyn Beinfield Professor of Neuroscience and at Brandeis University. Read more about her work and the award.
