Watch Live: Bowdoin’s Robot Soccer Team Prepares for RoboCup US Open

Robot featuredA team of computer science and math majors are about to test their robotic skills against America’s best on a mini-soccer pitch inside the Watson arena.

Bowdoin’s “Northern Bites” will be competing in the RoboCup US Open over the next two days, along with four other colleges and universities. Each team features up to five identicial-looking robots, all of whom have been programmed, hopefully, to autonomously pass, dribble and shoot the way their human counterparts do.
