Chris Brown ’91 set up Record Store Day in 2008, nearly two decades after helping fellow Bowdoin grad Brett Wickard ’90 set up Bull Moose Music in Brunswick – now a chain of 12 record stores across Maine and New Hampshire. Since then Record Store Day, which is billed a celebration of independent record stores everywhere, has grown into an international event featuring live concerts and record releases from some of the top names in musical entertainment. This Saturday, April 16th, marks the ninth annual event. Read more about Chris Brown and Record Store Day 2016.
