Museum Pieces Offer Odes to Spring, Love and Otis Redding

This year’s Museum Pieces included four dances that touched on themes of love, spring and exams, as well as featured a bouncy bee and a beneficent angel. Museum Pieces is an outdoor dance performed every spring on the steps of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. Paul Sarvis and Gwyneth Jones, both senior lecturers in dance performance, rather sardonically (given the weather of late) choreographed this year’s finale, “Ode to Spring,” which is viewable here.  See more of the performance.
