Landscape painter Anne Ireland ’76 is one of three artists profiled in the June 2013 issue of Maine Home + Design. Ireland, who also holds a BFA from Maine College of Art, is a New York native whose ties to Maine date back to her childhood summers in West Bath. She currently lives and works in Falmouth, Maine, taking commissions from fellow alumni and others who request paintings of their favorite Maine views.

  1. Martha Burns says:

Anne, I just looked at some of your pictures in the Bowdoin Daily Sun. I knew you were doing some painting but had no idea you were doing so much. Sorry we haven’t seen you for a while. We had one granddaughter graduate from Bowdoin and another finish one year here. Glad to see your paintings, I liked them.

  2. Elizabeth Aaroe says:

Anne, I was so happy to open my June issue of MHD and see you and many of my favorites of your works, including one that got away. Wishing you a joyful return to your farm for the summer and fall and looking forward to this year’s body of work from Maine and your new studio in Florida.
