Technology: ‘Like Marital Prozac’ (Wall Street Journal)

In “Technology: My Marriage’s Secret Glue,” The Wall Street Journal‘s Katherine Rossman looks at the pros (synchronized online calendars reminding of that nearly forgotten after-work event at which she promised to join her husband) and the cons (the admitted distractions, e.g.: “I just want to check one thing on e-mail/Facebook/Twitter”). Rossman notes that an online service that reminds you when bill payments are due does cut down on “‘discussuments’ (not a discussion but not quite an argument) about who got the mail from the mailbox and where it was set down.”
