Toe-Tapping Alumni Band Mango Floss Plays Portland Tonight (Portland Press Herald)

Sarah Wood ’10 (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Farhan Rahman ’10 (bass), and Peter McLaughlin ’10 (percussion) perform tonight as Mango Floss at the Flask Lounge, 117 Spring St., in Portland. The classmates knew each other at Bowdoin, but didn’t start playing together until a year or so ago, and have been touring New England for the past six months in support of their album, Monsters.

The Portland Press Herald caught up with Sarah to talk about Mango Floss and the band’s “toe-tapping” music.
