PR Titan Richard Edelman on the ‘New Communications World Order’

Richard Edelman, president and CEO of Edelman, said to be the largest public relations agency in the world, delivered the convocation address at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Edelman spoke of the “seismic changes in media” and what he describes as the four mutually dependent segments of a media cloverleaf — mainstream media, their digital versions plus stand-alone online brands, social media and owned content — as he shared his insights on “this new ‘communications’ world order.
