National Champs! Sullivan and Pena Win Division III Doubles Crown

The most outstanding year in Bowdoin Athletics history ended with a flourish Sunday as the Polar Bear duo of Stephen Sullivan ’11 and Oscar Pena ’12 won the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Doubles Championship.

Sullivan and Pena knocked off Zhenya Pereverzin and Ronald Wu of Claremont Mudd Scripps for the title, 6-4, 6-4.

They are the first tennis players in Bowdoin’s history to win a national crown.
