The winner of the Nature Network’s “Best Nature Video” award for the most impressive display of science on the screen goes to the Lego recreation of Antikythera Mechanism, built in Greece around 100 BCE but lost for 2,000 years. It was recovered from a shipwreck in 1901, but it wasn’t until 100 years later that scientists understood its purpose.
