Iris Levin ’05, Research in Galapagos Island Birds Highlighted

Iris Levin ’05 is featured for her work studying frigatebirds of the Galapagos Islands in the “Editor’s Choice” section in Science and in Science News. Levin is a co-author of the paper “Long-term Isolation of a Highly Mobile Seabird” in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences.

Levin is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Missouri; the focus of her study is on the population structure of frigatebirds across the Galapagos Islands.
