Remembering Those Who Served: Bowdoin’s War Memorials

Three war memorials stand in a direct line on the campus of Bowdoin College. From Memorial Hall, to the Memorial Flagpole, to the World War II, Korea, and Vietnam monument, each has a distinct history and each focuses attention on the heroism and resolve of those from this small college in Maine who served in America’s armed forces.
