Bowdoin first-year students got a leg up on life at Bowdoin when they logged on to a Faculty Chat. The informal chat room “helps minimize the enormity of what they are about to embark on,” said organizer Janet Lohmann, “and gives them a taste of how accessible Bowdoin faculty are.”
